Topics covered include historic building inspection techniques, historic masonry methods and materials, safety, hand-made building materials, old-building structural issues, historic building alterations & additions, electrical & mechanical systems in old buildings and historic architectural forms & styles, to name a few. Since 1986, Bill has inspected well over 10,000 residential, commercial and agricultural buildings between 100 and 350 years old. He has served on the Board of Directors of 2 public historic buildings and has been a consultant to historic sites in several States. Bill has also been contracted on several occasions by municipal governments to advise building departments, and architecture review boards on historic building issues.
